Superalloy Additive Cladding

Laser cladding is an advanced additive manufacturing technology used to enhance, repair and rebuild components through the application of superalloy materials for improved wear, corrosion and thermal resistance. Our CNC systems, equipped with state-of-the-art visioning and AutoClad software, allow for the precise alignment of every individual part prior to cladding. A powder form of the alloy is applied to the substrate through a precision nozzle with the employment of inert gas. The material fuses to the substrate as the part cools. Ideal applications include blade/bucket z-notch and teeth hardfacing, tip cap and plate fusion, and other forms of additive cladding on turbine/engine blades and components.
